About the Writers

As children, we would stay awake at nights conjuring up stories. One would do so by listening to songs and weaving stories around them. The other would squeeze in self-written dialogues while narrating classical films to the applause of friends. Life has changed, but not that much.

Currently, we are writing a couple of animated series airing on Cartoon Network and Pogo.

​

But our partnership didn’t begin with writing. We were Assistant Directors on non-fiction feature films ‘Kaagaz Ki Kashti’ – a biopic on Jagjit Singh and ‘The Light Within’ – a story about the life and times at The Yoga Institute, and an enthralling feature film, ‘Jhalki’, which is based on child labour in the carpet factories of India.

Earlier on, in our own respective journeys, we were lucky to have our passion for writing honed by renowned Film writers Sagar Sarhadi and Rajat Aroraa for feature films like ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’ and ‘Azhar’ respectively.

​

Even after being from different educational backgrounds, we come together as partners because we both share one and the same passion - Scriptwriting, stories of which are born out of the sweet amalgamation of diverse abstractions. And that is why this partnership creates worlds unknown, feelings unfelt and moments unseen when our thoughts unite; and the story just clicks. It all makes sense. It comes to life.
